Love Love Loving My Curls... Thanks

Man I don't know how many times I have said this but I don't think it can be said enough. I love love love my curls. So back to wash n go's everyday because this is what suits me best. I know you can relate because you try this and that to try and baby your ends so that your hair will grow, right? I have found out today that my hair is growing a lot with wash n go's so I have decided to stick to it which I know I have said in another post. Now I can not stand frizz not even a little bit. In search of a regiment that would give me what I was looking for so my curls would pop every single day. I came across ElleRaquel and when I say my twin, a tear dropped. 

When it came to her application I did have to tweak it a little because in order for the Alterna product to work with Mixed Chicks, which everyone knows I am not giving up. I switched it around and apply the mixed chicks leave in, let my hair air dry and then take a spray bottle of water and use just a little with the Alterna bamboo frizz control and rake and shake. Let it all dry and  bom bam bing!!! I got just what I was looking for. I still can not stand second day hair so this I do everyday.

Kinky-Curly Products

I know I talked about this some time ago but my grandson wanted me to come in here and talk about what it is doing from him. Since we have different hair types the products that works the most for me is Mixed Chicks product line and what I fould out that works best for the boys with their texture is the Kink Curly line.
    I told them we were going to do a test on them to see how this works for them. And I said man I wish you were a girl, he said Jaddah you wish I was a girl. Only so I could grow your hair down your back. lol. My nephew will be using what I use since his hair is close to mines. So far as you can see from the last post is that his hair is doing very well with this product line. If I didn't say, this grandson is six years old and he is telling every one that my Jaddah is blogging about my hair. LOL this is so funny but they are on their Jaddah team.

For My Sweeties LOL

So I decided to make the ole Kimmaytube leave in conditioner once and for all. I order

 the Jojoba oil 

 and Aloe vera juice off Amazon.com because they were the two things I did not have in my stash. Once I made it up and applied it to my hair for the first time to  my hair for a wash n go. But once the mixed chicks was applied and dried I just didn't like the way my hair turned out. Since then I have been applying it to my grand sons hair. Their hair love it. I say go to the refrig to get the hair stuff the six yr old knows just what to get. He will not go to school before getting his hair done.

He said Jaddah put my curls in your blog LOL. So I had to come back to write another blog because he watched over my shoulder on the last blog and said Jaddah you forgot me. So to my main squeeze here you go lol.

Wintery Day For Hair Pampering Say?

Well as the snow cover the cars, trees, houses and sidewalks this is like the best hair day ever. Time to get out all the conditioners and hennas, all the oils and any other rinse you can think of. How about the product that you were holding off to try?



I refreshed a wash n go but now I think I will put in a deep conditioner and sit with the heating cap on. I will use the spray bottle to wet my hair a little and then I will apply moroccan oil  intense hydrating mask. As I

 prepare my hair and wait for the sweet potatoes to cool  down to make sweet potato pies because this is what you do when it snows lol. So I have applied the intense hydrating mask it looks yummy don't it? oh and the smell WOW that is all I can say and when I say it only takes a dime amount I am not lying. My hair feels like butter and I know I have talked about this product back in October but I still have the same jar, thank God because you remember it cost me $30.00. I want to try other products in this line but don't have the money at this time. 

Maybe if I sell more braiding adjustable bracelets   I will make the money lol. 

So now me and my grandson are looking out the window at this but no bother because with my wonderful hair and those delicious sweet potato pies to look forward to we are not sad lol. Oh by the way the mail woman came already and she delivered some more bracelets. If I do say so myself they are nice. 

Love your hair and it will love you back, I mean this has been like the best winter for my hair. I don't know why this simple regi is working so much better that last summer regi where I was plaiting my hair every night and co washing everyday? I still co washing everyday if I feel like it but I don't worry about plaiting my hair anymore. I just put it up in a pineapple and put my sleeping cap on.

Starting with Nupur and Ending with Nupur

Well from last month to this month I would have to say that I am still in love with Nupur Henna package. I never thought I would get the color that I am getting only because of all of the herbs that are added. There is a great feeling in my hair. The only problem that I see may happen is me loosing a lot of my curl. The front of my hair is already in a wave. I see more growth when I rinse out the henna, my hair is hanging on down my back.

I am sitting here looking at Hoarding: Buried Alive... man all I can say is that I was holding my hair hoping nothing would get in my hair lol. Man these are people that service us every day.

My hair is very shiny and the color is define. Love is the word I want to use in describing my hair at this time.

 This so my goal LOL. Still working on getting to this point which is why it is very important for my henna treatments to be on point.

love it , love it , love it. I pamper it and make sure that it is not pulling on anything nor the baby is not yanking my hair out which we use to think was so cute.. Not so cute now. "Stinka butt let Jaddah hair go baby", this is what I say now lol. He wanted to know why. 

 I tell you never ever stop loving your hair. So never stop hoping for the chance of growing or having healthy hair. I can only tell you how I am getting where I am going. So where I am so far it arm pit length or beyond that. The goal for this year end was to make it to bra strap, a little shy of that I am still pushing on. While writing this I have just finish massaging my scalp with Jamaican Black Castor Oil and next applied KimmayTube leave in recipe now will put it up in a bun until tomorrow to do a co wash.

All Aboard On The Natural Bandwagon Ya Hoo!!

You ever notice how every thing always start with family and friends? Every since my family notice what I have been doing with my mother's hair they have all been coming to me for natural hair advice. Loving what I do of course I jump to the chance. Having made several of my family members jump on board to the natural train has put me in mentor training.

This was not all my idea. This is how much hair was cut after I got my cousin hair even. She will have to get use to living without her weaves but her curls were popping. 

So what was I trying to say? I am really loving the fact that my family and friends are starting to see something in me that they like. 

So after the cutting of my cousin's hair off I trimmed up my auntie and twist and bantu knot her hair so that she could do a twist out when she was ready. 

I think that your family and friends are the first to support you when you start a new business or start a new life change. That is very important to have that support when others are trying to tell you that you are wrong or don't know what you are talking about. I am having so much fun with my family and their hair. I can not wait to see them grow on their head and grow with their minds. My grandson has even jump aboard the natural train of curls. 

Believe me when I tell you, love your hair and it will love you back...

WOW The Hands Wont Work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What am I to do??? No wash n go's??? No curls???  Are You Kidding Me?? This is my signature!!!!


So Thursday I had a eye test that had to be done, while sitting waiting my turn to register my hand started shaking out of control. Can you see my face, like really can you see the look on my face....... Ya! So my so loved curly hair has to be put on hold until I can get the use of my hands, plus while I recover I am laying around in the bed so I am covering my hair in my sleeping cap so I do not damage my hair. I had my daughter put my precious curls into twist to make sure that they are protected while my body is going through it's thing.

Well I couldn't let you leave here with out showing you some of my goody stash. People are really dear to me and I just had to show the very very  lovely gift I got this week.

 Everyone knows that I am THE Mixed Chicks QUEEN. I mean it just need to be well known. So anyway, When I open the box I was jumping up and down because of what I seen. The paddle brush was something I was thinking of adding to my collection it was between that and the t-shirt. I want everything they sell. LOL  I know I am set for the summer now. Because before this I received another box not too long ago with more Mixed Chicks products. Here take a look into my cabinets of goodies lol.

This is some of what my cabinet looks like, believe me there is more but not related to what we are talking about right now. 

I am hoping that I will not be down for long. but I will be keeping you all posted.

What Now???

I had planned to have this published before the turn of the new year but my grandsons had other plans. So now this is my kick off for the first of the year. Pretty much everything is the same with co washing everyday and using mixed chicks for my curls and by doing this on a regular basis my curls have been tamed every well. They have more bounce with that Shirley Temple looking curl that I am just loving.

 Yes smaller than what Shirley Temple herself use to wear, look LOL. You got to love it, you know it looks great. 

Inspired by one of my youtubers that I follow Elleraquel, who's hair I love so much so that she has me looking for a great hair stylist that can cut her butt off so that I can get those killer layers Elleraquel has. That is so next on my list. Well anyway, inspired by her video entitled Hair Styling Product Application, this video help me to seal the deal on my application of my styling products. I was lacking something but didn't know what and since taking on her application rules my hair is a #10 everyday.

I have to give it an all  to that show and tell. She is also a sweet young lady. And even though we use different products it works just the same for me. So yeah for this new year coming I see no reason for changing my products nor change wearing a wash n go every single day!!!. That goes back to what MaghonyCurls said "do what works for you". 

So I never get tired of saying this and I will keep on saying it until it is no longer working for me. All of you that have not tried it yet please give it a try before you put it down and yes I am talking about Mixed Chicks system. 

 I don't shampoo as much so this size bottle last me a long time but the deep conditioner and leave in I purchase the larger sizes because it is money smart for me. Because my hair is thin it last me for some months. I do have a couple other products that I through in the mix. Like for co washing I use 

Tresemme Flawless Curls to kick off the start of my co washing routine and end it with the mixed chicks deep conditioner. Then 

John Freda Frizz Ease Dream Curls I spray in my hands and apply to my dripping wet hair and brush it in sometimes with my deman brush. Ending that step with Mixed Chicks Leave In smoothing it out to my ends and making sure that evenly applied. I then scrunch my hair in a upward motion to lock in the curls. 

I will then leave to air-dry, once air-dried I squirt in my hands

        

Kendra Silkening Gloss or 

Mix Chicks Hair Silk, which ever one I have on hand. This is applied to my very dry hair to smooth over the curls to loosen up the crunch feeling that the leave in can give your hair. Once you smooth over your curls they bounce back with shine, soft, full curls. Over time your curls become so tamed that you will fall in love with them as I have and never ever want to let them go. I don't like day old curls so I repeat this process every day unless I have to go out the house and therefore I will be in a ponytail under my head covering. 

I really am a witness to loving your hair and it will love you back.
