New HENNA DAY!!!!!!!

It was that time again. TIME TO HENNA!!!!! LOL

About 2 days ago I gave my mother her henna treatment and got her length check done. I wanted to share the results with my fellow bloggers. I really feel that the program we are following has done wonders for her hair. It is looking fab if I do say so myself. So much so that I want to show you some more pictures.

The picture is not doing justice for her hair color but it still is nice and her curls are poppin.

We are looking at almost APL( arm pit length). I cut her hair in the beginning of the year because it was damage from apl to shoulder length. But we are now growing strong healthy hair which has grown fast.
I hope you enjoy and there will be more to come.

As always thanks for reading, peace and love!!!!!

  1. Thank you for sharing. I love the color and have been using henna followed by a moisturizing DC for years. Lately, I've been having problems obtaining henna locally (MD/DC/ VA area). The Indian Grocers have Jamilah BAQ ($1.99/100g), but the last time I used it, my scalp itched for DAYS! I only used a mix of henna and green tea, as always.

A Pakistani co-worker brought me henna from her home country and WOW, what a difference. She says she doesn't trust the henna sold locally, but won't be returning to her country until next year.

I checked the prices on hennaforhair (whoa, kinda pricey) Any suggestions for reliable and reasonably priced henna?

    1. First let me say that I have a new site www.curlyummi.com now get to the henna. I only use body art quality henna and I never buy from the market. and I only use Nupur now and I purchase it from Amazon.com because I get the best price. I loved medani.com henna but the other herbs that I was using is in the Nupur so it much easier to use it and it has a deeper color.
